Lean Integrated has partnered with the Rona Consulting Group to provide Lean transformational services to the VA Hospital located in San Jose California. Steve Manthey, president of Lean Integrated is a service disabled veteran who played a key role in structuring the roll out. The Lean process will focus on the optimization of primary care and mental health. As a speaker at the recent society of military engineers this October - 2017, Steve Manthey stated that improving the healthcare experience of the veterans who have sacrificed their time and their personal safety to serve our country has been his top priority for over 15 years. He also stated that this opportunity to assist the dedicated and committed providers at the VA with a very ambitious Lean implementation schedule over the next 12 months, will be his honor and privilege.

The focus of this Lean transformation project will be on the mental health and primary care services. The Lean process keeps the patient at the forefront of each and every decision. Providers and support staff at all levels of the organization will employ continuous improvement philosophies, methodologies and tools to assist with the identification of activities which will most significantly impact our veterans healthcare experience.
